Refund and cancellation policy

1. Free trial
New accounts get a 14-day trial of the Growth tier at no charge. You can connect a Shopify store, ingest mail, generate AI drafts, and send replies during the trial without entering a card. If you do not subscribe by the end of the trial, draft generation pauses and your account is locked until you subscribe — your data stays put for 30 days, then is deleted.
2. Monthly billing
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. We charge your payment method on the day you subscribe and on the same calendar day each month thereafter. Plan upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated; downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
3. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation stops future charges. You retain access to the service until the end of the current billing period, after which your account becomes read-only for 30 days and is then deleted (per our privacy policy). No prorated refund is given for the unused portion of the current period.
4. 14-day money-back guarantee
We offer a money-back guarantee for the first paid month of any new subscription. If you cancel within 14 days of your first charge, write to us at [email protected] and we will refund the full amount of that first invoice via Stripe within 5 business days. The guarantee covers your first paid month only — not subsequent months, not annual renewals, and not overage charges.
5. AI overage charges
Each plan includes a monthly quota of AI-generated replies. Drafts beyond the quota are billed at the per-reply rate listed at /pricing, on the next monthly invoice. Overage charges are non-refundable, because they reflect real third-party AI costs we have already incurred.
To prevent surprise overages we apply a daily ceiling (your monthly quota divided by 15) and notify you at 80% and 100% of your monthly quota. You can opt to block all overage by toggling "no overage allowed" in your billing settings — in that mode, drafts above quota return an error instead of being charged.
6. Annual plans
Where you have signed up to an annual plan (typically with a discount), the same 14-day money-back guarantee applies to the first invoice. After day 14, annual subscriptions are non-refundable for the remainder of the term.
7. Statutory rights
Where you are a consumer in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer-protection law, this policy does not affect any non-waivable rights you have under that law (for example, the EU 14-day right of withdrawal). Note: most users of Weft are businesses, in which case those consumer rights typically do not apply.
8. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] from the email address registered to your Weft account, with your invoice number and a brief reason. We will reply within 2 business days and process eligible refunds within 5 business days via your original payment method.
